About The Event
This special intimate festival is built around a set of values collectively upheld by attendees:
Co-Creation
The weekend schedule is made up of facilitators, presenters, and artists who are active members within the community. Their offerings will spark your curiosity and tend to your wellbeing. We’ve seen it time and time again: the more you put into the weekend, the more you get out of it. If you’d like to offer something at Friends Club, they would love to hear from you.
Community Growth and Connection
We believe the expansion of people’s personal friendships and networks through meaningful connection and shared memories goes a long way in contributing to a fulfilling life. Friends Club brings together a collection of people who are interested and passionate about various topics, are inclusive, like to have fun, and care about the safety of others. Communal breakfasts and dinners are included in your ticket cost, and serve as an opportunity to slow down and engage with others.
Good Vibes
Think summer camp vibes during the day, and eclectic rave vibes at night. Workshops, talks, movement classes, activities and activations, art, catered meals, daytime dance parties, sauna, access to a river, world class DJs, and awesome people. We endeavour to collectively create safety, inclusivity, fun, and connection through curated programming and people (that’s you!).
At Friends Club, there is no cell service and nowhere to spend money. Get your ticket, pack your camping gear (and fabulous fits from your tickle trunk), and come join your favourite weekend of the summer.
This year, expect EVEN MORE art, programming, and fun. Our goal is to have you leave on Monday feeling happy in heart, mind, body, and soul, and more deeply connected to people and nature.
