Become A Volunteer

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to help build community, consider joining us on our mission.

Most of our volunteer opportunities are for our events that we host. We typically look for support around the following areas…

  1. Set Up / Tear Down

  2. Door Support (ie. checking tickets, greeting)

  3. Harm Reduction (ie. emotional support, mental and physical first aid)

  4. Event Oversight

For those that want to support The Flying Sage in a deeper way, we do occasionally offer Team Volunteer roles which are more behind the scenes and have more responsibility. Team Volunteer roles include helping with things like social media, community management, newsletter, lead generation and education.

For anyone interested in this, we ask that you attend at least five events before applying to become a Team Volunteer.
