Community Beach Hang
Not every gathering needs an itinerary. Sometimes, we just need to be together.
We’ve heard from many of you that you’re craving more opportunities to connect outside of our transformational and educational spaces—so we’re answering the call.
On Wednesday, June 25, we’re hosting a casual, come-as-you-are Beach Hang at Kitsilano Beach (we’ll gather on the grassy area just in front of Local). This isn’t a ceremony or a workshop—it’s a chance to kick back, enjoy the sunset, meet new friends, and deepen the roots of our growing community.
We’ll set up the tent (so you know where to find us), bring some music, and help create a welcoming space for all. You just bring a blanket, maybe a snack, and a beach game if you’ve got one to share.
Whether you’re brand new to the community or a familiar face, this is a space for laughter, stories, shared sunsets, and spontaneous connection.

This event is open to the public and free to join - we just ask for your email in exchange so we can stay connected and keep offering community gatherings like this one.

Cancellation Policy:
Please understand that there are limited spots for these events and so we only accept cancellations 48 hours in advance from the start date. This means that if you cancel within 48 hours, we will not be able to issue you a refund. Please contact hello@theflyingsage.ca to request a cancellation.
Weather Notice:
This is an outdoor event and is weather dependent. In the case of rain or extreme conditions, we may need to cancel with short notice. All updates and cancellations will be communicated via email—please make sure you're subscribed and keep an eye on your inbox on the day of the event.
