Embodied Presence – Movement that illuminates from within
This is the first workshop of our new 3-part Embodiment Series. Each workshop builds on the previous ones, although they’re all structured in such a way that anyone can drop in and still have a well-rounded experience.
This session is designed to help you arrive more fully into your body and inhabit the entirety of you as you are right now. We’ll widen the aperture through which you view your body and your relationship to it, and help you remember it as the exquisite vessel of transmutation that it is. You’ll be led further into your inner landscape through sensory awareness, slow and luxurious movement, and an embodied exploration of your inner sanctuary.
We’ll find and attune to your body’s rhythms, honor the many ways it speaks to you, and give you full permission to embrace (and give into) your rich and multifaceted somatic self. You’ll learn to listen to the subtle language of your body, soften into its support, and cultivate a sense of unyielding clarity that comes from deeper internal alignment.
The intention of this workshop is to illuminate you from within, and remind you that your body can be an incredible ally as you navigate all of the complexity of your human experience. We’ll end with some space for community sharing and connection, so you can settle more deeply into your experience and gain new insights from your fellow attendees.
About Your Facilitator:
Shannon Solieva
Shannon Solieva is a Somatic Therapist, Psychedelic Facilitator, and Yoga Teacher with a passion for exploring the vast oceans of the Great Mystery. The entirety of her practice is devoted to helping people (re)connect to their whole selves, and to come into a felt sense of coherence through all of their layers – body, mind, spirit, and the subconscious. She also loves helping people embrace and transmute the ineffable - the things they feel so vividly, yet struggle to make sense of (or even put into words).
She is firmly planted at the altar of the body, always finding new and creative ways of bringing the multifaceted human experience into an embodied, coherent whole. She loves distilling everything she’s learned in the vast fields of psychology, somatics, mysticism, and medicine work into simple embodied practices that can help us arrive more fully into the breadth of our whole selves.
You can find out more about Shannon and her work on her website.

About Sponsor:
Kanna Gaden
This event is in partnership with Kanna Garden who will be supporting this event by offering kanna, a gentle heart opening medicine.
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a succulent plant native to South Africa, traditionally used by Indigenous Khoisan peoples for centuries in ritual, connection, and emotional centering. Known as a heart-opening ally, kanna was often chewed, brewed, or smoked to support states of calm, presence, and communal harmony—especially after long hunts or in ceremonial gatherings.
Kanna is sometimes regarded as "nature's MDMA" because of how similar it is to other psychedelic empathogens in regards to it's euphoric effects. The key difference is that kanna is natural, gentle, fully legal and not a psychedelic.
