About This Event:
The Flying Sage and Zen Den are excited to be collaborating to bring you our next Lumio of 2026. Dive into a Conscious Dance experience like no other, where freedom, presence and embodiment take center stage. This is a dance designed to facilitate your full expression.
A great alcohol-free alternative to a night out, we’ve crafted this special event to be like a mini-festival in one evening!
The event starts with a grounding breathwork ceremony for those that would like to attend earlier.
After this, we transition to two ecstatic dance sets followed by a soothing and relaxing sound bath to end the night.
In the heart of this experience lies a simple but profound ethos: Freedom. Leave judgments at the door as you step into a world of full expression. To achieve this, we have a few simple rules that we ask everyone to follow on the dance floor.
BE FREE. DANCE HOW YOU WANT. NO JUDGEMENT.
BE PRESENT. NO PHONES. NO CAMERAS.
BE CLEAR. NO ALCOHOL.
BE EMBODIED. NO TALKING.
BE CONSENSUAL.IF IT’S NOT A CLEAR YES, IT’S A NO.
These rules mostly just apply to the dance-floor and there is plenty of other spaces to explore and socialize. By sharing in these agreements together, our dance floor can become a canvas for embodiment, allowing us all to dive deep into the music, rhythm and our own inner space.
Lumio is a collective vision that we are co-creating together. It's where the wisdom of expanded states merges with the power of dance and community.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Zen Den to bring you a bigger, more expansive Lumio experience! This collaboration offers a fresh vibe with more capacity, allowing us to welcome more people into the experience while staying true to our core ethos. With Zen Den’s unique space, you’ll enjoy a heightened sense of connection, freedom and embodiment, all in a new and vibrant environment that perfectly complements the essence of Lumio.

Please aim to arrive early if you would like to participate in the breathwork. If you intend to come later, please arrive after 8:30pm. There are two different ticket types available.

About Your Facilitators:
Perspectiv (DJ Set)
Childhood friends Shamil & Jason from Moçambique, became the DJ & producer duo Perspectiv when they both moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2016. They run their own events brand called ‘Crossing Worlds’ and have become a staple for afro-house & organic music in the Vancouver nightscene. The duo weaves their multicultural backgrounds into a story that takes audiences traveling through through sonic landscapes that span from Latin America to their mother continent of Africa.
Perspectiv reveals a wild passion for transcending the boundaries of different genres and always aim to connect people to their roots, a portal that often only music can unlock. With releases on Inward Records, Lump Records, and 3000 grad they enjoy producing world and groovy soundscapes. The duo have an upcoming EP on Cafe Anatolia and one more surprise release for this year.
Michael James (DJ Set)
Michael has spent over a decade sculpting sound through the guitar, drawing influence from neo-soul, jazz and rock. Now stepping into the world of electronic music, he blends the organic with the electronic—bridging worlds of house, dubstep and progressive sounds together for upbeat, down-tempo or ecstatic sets.
Andrew Francis (Soundbath)
Andrew Francis is a Canadian actor, voice actor, producer and Co-Founder/CEO of ZENDEN, a Vancouver-based multi-modality wellness space. After a long career in entertainment, including extensive work as a voice actor and performer, Andrew moved deeper into the wellness world through meditation, sound healing and other healing practices.
As a certified Sound Healer, Breathwork Instructor and Reiki Level 2 practitioner, Andrew facilitates immersive sound bath experiences that draw on his background in voice, sound and guided meditation. His work is grounded, accessible and designed to support relaxation, presence and mental clarity, whether in studio settings, events or retreat environments.

This event is open to the public and this is a 19+ event. Early bird tickets are $70. General Admission tickets are $80. Tickets are cheaper for later entry.
