About This Event:
The Flying Sage and Crossing Worlds are excited to be collaborating to bring you Lumio. This is your invitation to a conscious dance experience where freedom, presence and embodiment take center stage. This is a dance designed to facilitate your full expression.
A great alcohol-free alternative to a night out, we’ve crafted this special event to be like a mini-festival in one evening!
The event starts with a grounding breathwork ceremony for those that would like to attend earlier.
After this, we transition to two ecstatic dance sets followed by a soothing and relaxing sound bath to end the night.
In the heart of this experience lies a simple but profound ethos: Freedom. Leave judgments at the door as you step into a world of full expression. To achieve this, we have a few simple rules that we ask everyone to follow on the dance floor.
BE FREE. DANCE HOW YOU WANT. NO JUDGEMENT.
BE PRESENT. NO PHONES. NO CAMERAS.
BE CLEAR. NO ALCOHOL.
BE EMBODIED. NO TALKING.
BE CONSENSUAL. IF IT’S NOT A CLEAR YES, IT’S A NO.
These rules mostly just apply to the dance-floor and there is plenty of other spaces to explore and socialize. By sharing in these agreements together, our dance floor can become a canvas for embodiment, allowing us all to dive deep into the music, rhythm and our own inner space.
Lumio is a collective vision that we are co-creating together. It's where the wisdom of expanded states merges with the power of dance and community.

Please aim to arrive early if you would like to participate in the breathwork. If you intend to come later, please arrive after 8:30pm. There are two different ticket types available.

About Your Facilitators:
Alejandro Giraldo (Breathwork)
Alejandro Giraldo, originally from Colombia, is a certified professional and trauma-informed coach, lawyer and advocate for nervous system regulation. He has dedicated his career to promoting healing and integration through the wisdom of ancestral traditions and Mother Earth's medicines. Alejandro's deep connection to nature and indigenous wisdom has guided his lifelong commitment to planetary conservation and social cohesion.
In this ceremony, Alejandro brings the spirit of his ancestors and the teachings of his heritage, creating a sacred space to connect with the profound energies that breathwork has to offer.
Perspectiv (DJ Set)
Childhood friends Shamil & Jason from Moçambique, became the DJ & producer duo Perspectiv when they both moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2016. They run their own events brand called ‘Crossing Worlds’ and have become a staple for afro-house & organic music in the Vancouver nightscene. The duo weaves their multicultural backgrounds into a story that takes audiences traveling through through sonic landscapes that span from Latin America to their mother continent of Africa.
Perspectiv reveals a wild passion for transcending the boundaries of different genres and always aim to connect people to their roots, a portal that often only music can unlock. With releases on Inward Records, Lump Records, and 3000 grad they enjoy producing world and groovy soundscapes. The duo have an upcoming EP on Cafe Anatolia and one more surprise release for this year.
RÚN (DJ Set)
The name Rún, meaning mystery or secret, reflects a profound connection to storytelling—each performance is a theatrical journey, woven with emotive beats and rhythms. With a background in theatre and acting, RÚN treats every set as a narrative, fusing diverse genres like PsyTech, Techno, House, Psytrance, Drum and Bass, Bass, 140, and Bass House to craft an experience that’s captivating and unforgettable, but mainly focusing on PsyTech (Psychedelic Techno.)
RÚN’s music is inspired by his roots in Bohemia and the breathtaking nature of Canada, creating a unique fusion of past and present. His style incorporates classical, folk, and ethnic influences, spiced with a touch of theatrical flair. In addition to traditional DJing, RÚN collaborates with Paxkan to create ecstatic dance journeys at music festivals and well-being events, adding an interactive and transformative dimension to his artistry.
Whether through his vibrant sets or his platform for artistic connection, Bohemian’s Minds, RÚN is dedicated to exploring the imperfect beauty of creation and sharing his passion for storytelling through sound.
Jonah Ocean (Soundbath)
Jonah Ocean is a Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist and singer offering medicine music rooted in both technical mastery and spiritual tradition. Raised in a musical family and trained in classical and jazz music, his work bridges discipline and devotion.
A former elementary school music teacher, Jonah brings deep attunement to intimate group settings. Since 2021, he has supported dozens of ceremonies and soundbaths alongside practitioners from around the globe.

This event is open to the public and this is a 19+ event. Early bird tickets are $70. General Admission tickets are $80. Tickets are cheaper for later entry.
