About This Event: Hapé Circle
The Flying Sage is excited to welcome you to a special Hapé Ceremony, with guest facilitator, Anki. Join us for an intentional evening of connection and grounding as we explore the sacred medicine of Hapé, a traditional snuff originating from the indigenous tribes of the Amazon. Through breathwork, movement, and prayer, we will attune ourselves to receive the medicine's deep healing and guidance.
Hapé helps us connect with the element of Earth, grounding us deeply in the present moment — the Axkan, the here and now. This medicine is known to cleanse and activate the pineal gland, bringing clarity to the mind and spirit, and supporting a deeper connection with our higher self.
This event is geared towards any experience level. Whether it is your first time exploring the intentional use of Hapé or whether you have an existing practice and are looking for a group ceremonial container, this gathering will be perfect for you.
To prepare for the session, it’s recommended to come with an empty stomach for at least three hours beforehand, bring a clear intention, and arrive with an open mind and heart.
What is Hapé?
Hapé is a sacred plant medicine made from Mapacho (Tobacco), along with a blend of various indigenous trees, seeds, flowers, and herbs. This fine powder is administered through the nose, allowing its potent effects to be felt immediately.
Originating from the native tribes of the Amazon, this sacred snuff has the ability to clear the mind, release emotional blocks, and facilitate spiritual insights. Given the profound energy of this medicine, it is important to sit with Hapé in an intentional space with prayer.
As a Master Plant Teacher, Tobacco brings individual healing, blessings and connection to the earth. Through breath and surrender, we can journey into these subtle realms creating space to receive the teachings of grandfather tobacco, who guides us back to our heart centre.
Where Is It Sourced?
We are honored to work with the Kuntanawa, Huni Kuin, Yawanawá and the Puyanawa tribes to bring you sustainably sourced hapé from the heart of the Amazon. The hapé used in our circles is crafted by indigenous tribes who have been custodians of this tradition for generations.
The medicine is made with reverence, using tobacco and other sacred plants grown and harvested in harmony with nature. By supporting these communities, we ensure that the knowledge and traditions of hapé are preserved and passed on with integrity.
