About Our Cold Plunge Challenge
We are excited to be running our SEVENTH Cold Plunge Challenge starting on October 15th. This challenge will run for 10 weeks and will be a great opportunity for those seeking some accountability and incentive in making cold exposure a part of your weekly routine.
The last plunge of this challenge will be on December 17th.
Each week, we start with 3 rounds of breathwork, then we plunge in the ocean, followed by some guided Qigong movements.
For this first kickoff event, we are excited to have Gabriel Largaespada (Gabo) joining us to facilitate the breathwork along with Kiem who will be guiding the qigong.
We want to bring a meditative aspect to this event and so we ask that during the plunge itself, you remain silent so that everyone can have space to feel into the sensations brought about by the cold.
-
Essentials: Bathing suit, warm layers, change of clothing. Umbrella or rainjacket if it is raining to keep you and your things dry. Sandals or water shoes to wear in the ocean and during the Qigong.
Optional: A poncho or robe to make changing easier for you after. Warm tea.
-
We’re not tracking attendance this season. We're inviting you to track that yourself.
RSVP is free and helps us get a headcount.
Arrive a few minutes early since we start breathwork on time at 7:30am sharp.
During the plunge, please remain silent to support a meditative, sensory-aware experience.
Pack out everything you bring so we leave no trace.
Location
7:30am sharp at Kitsilano Beach in front of the Boathouse restaurant. If it’s raining, we’ll likely be closer to the building.
