About This Event
As the season of growth unfolds, Ascension returns to offer a sacred container for grounding, reflection, and expansion. Held in the beautiful Kou Studios in Vancouver, this event blends intentional microdosing, guided breathwork, and immersive sound to support your personal evolution and embodied presence.
Our journey will begin with a an optional offering of a mushroom chocolate and/or capsule microdose from MicroDays. MicroDays is a Canadian supplier of 100% organic, small-batch, BC-grown psilocybin and functional mushrooms. A lot of care has gone into the development of their products and we are excited to share them with you at this event.
Following this, Christina Niven will lead us through a guided breathwork journey. Christina brings over two decades of therapeutic experience and a deeply holistic approach to healing—bridging breath, somatic wisdom, yoga therapy, and the teachings of plant medicine. Her facilitation is rooted in compassion and inclusivity, with a special emphasis on creating safe, affirming space for all bodies and identities.
To close the evening, we’ll enter a restorative sound bath with Days of Lavender. This visionary duo merges ambient electronic textures, vocals, and deep bass to offer a contemplative sound journey that invites stillness, integration, and emotional release.
Together, we’ll gather in ceremony to anchor into presence, release old layers, and attune to the life force that is continually rising within and around us.

About Your Facilitators:
Christina Niven (Breathwork)
I have dedicated my life to the therapeutic journey for over 25 years, first for myself and now also to support others. It is an honour to hold space for another and is a role that I deeply respect. I came to breathwork nearly 10 years ago and studied with and assisted Robin Clements as a co-facilitator in several breathwave retreats and facilitator trainings. I also now train facilitators in Vancouver. In addition, I am a registered clinical counsellor (RCC), somatic experiencing practitioner (SEP), certified international yoga therapist (C-IAYT) and a longtime student of yoga and shamanic medicine (20+ years). I have long appreciated the teachings of plant medicines and treat them with respect and reverence.
I identify as cisgender woman of Danish, English and Hungarian descent and am grateful to live on the ancestral lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver, B.C.
I am passionate about helping people develop kinder, more compassionate relationships with themselves, heal from their traumas, express their authenticity, and feel more comfortable and confident in their own skins. My therapeutic approach is holistic reflecting body-mind-heart and spirit. I embrace and celebrate diversity and am a passionate ally of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I offer safer, inclusive spaces for personal growth and healing.
Days of Lavender (Soundbath)
Days of Lavender is a Vancouver-based electronic duo creating genre-bending contemplative music. Over the last two years, Stephen Clarke (Ableton PUSH, bass), and Daniela Mae (vocals) have made a name for themselves in the Vancouver music scene by starting an event series called InnerSpace which brought together breathwork, yoga and sound healing sessions with visual and performing arts.
They released their first EP 'Mary's Garden' in May 2023, and are currently working on their full length album in collaboration with artists such as Noble Oak, Forrest Mortifee, Jacob Weil and Jonah Ocean. Their mission is increasingly to create spaces for self-reflection, connection and healing through music. The duo offers a yoga class, taught by Daniela, set to their live music every month at the Beaumont Studios in Vancouver.
